What is a Geoportal?

A Geoportal is a platform for managing and sharing geospatial data. They are commonly used by large organizations to facilitate the sharing of geospatial data within and across organizations.

Lateral Robotics Geoportal is purpose-built for the robotics industry. It is designed to be easy to use, unobstructive, and highly versatile.

The Geoportal is composed of the following components:

Data Access and Authentication

We care about your data and security, and understand that it is often not practical to offload your data to a third party.

Our Geoportal works with only metadata. Your data stays in your infrastructure. We only worry about indexing and discovery.

This separation allows for quick adoption and integration with your existing infrastructure.
